YOUR Safety In Confined Spaces

It Is of Utmost Important For the Safety of All Members of Our Bargaining Unit, Qualified to Work in Confined Spaces, to Adhere to and Understand the Following Legal Agreement Between the IFPTE and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

All IFPTE unit members should therefore be aware the IFPTE Local-4 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) states the following regarding 'Safety and Health' in Article 29, Section 2:

      "Any employee who is engaged in work, that is potentially hazardous, shall not be required to work alone or beyond the calland observations of another employee."
